neither Lincoln's nor Dem oft right.
With both jock'yin' for th'summit,
neither's overlooked the jockey
on the southern lawn o' some might.

So what if some of 'em keep theirs in the weeds. The foliage obscures the same underlying ugly truth in every state of the union.

Dem dark hearts in the heartland,
