Verluste

For those sowing the seeds of liberation, you just never know when your hard work might pay off. Encouraging for the stick-to-it-ness of the war on terror.

On the other hand, it looks like a few who'd been blessed with steady work have died by a sword not of their making.

From the first link:
Three members of a bomb disposal team were killed in the central German city of Göttingen on Tuesday night while they were preparing to defuse a World War II bomb found on a construction site, police said.

Talk about killing a jobs program! Well, at least the police are on the case. I sure hope they catch whoever did this.

For those with push-pin in hand ready to update the map in your den, Göttingen is about 250 miles west of Dresden.
