I suspect that a good portion of drinkers who are convinced that THC is more dangerous than alcohol have at some point earlier in their lives been reduced to a debilitating state of discomfort after partaking of the weed; they have become paranoid enough for everyone.
I would like to prohibit precisely and exclusively these folks from drinking alcohol, not being comfortable with the comfort zone they achieve getting liquored up.
And there's nothing more democritic than proscribing someone else's behavior.
