Echter Berliner

This photo by Yoann that was lying about at his exhibition creates a perspective which focuses attention on what I like most about this city’s landscape. The building height limit which has led to this uniformity in many of the residential areas, achieves the feeling of being towered over, while simultaneously allowing the sky to shine through. It's made for the most stunning sunsets—and sunrises—that I've ever seen.

Schmacke did a performance to do with the five popes, and though the accompanying image may indicate a less than serious representation, he did give it serious thought. It was, as usual, funny and entertaining, but informative and thought provoking as well. I was aware of the administrations of the orthodox churches with their bischops etc., but I hadn’t realized the extent to which they were poped.
